I’ve finally done something I probably should have done a long time ago — posted on the internet the actual “Dear Colleague” letter that then-Congressman Dave Weldon, M.D., sent to every other Member of the U.S. House of Representatives back in 1999 about my student article published in the Wisconsin Law Review, along with a reprint of the article itself. I tried to figure out how to post it here but wasn’t able to — which doesn’t bode well for one of my escape-from-the-law plans — learning how to “code.” Somehow I was able to figure out how to post the letter on my “law firm” website (which hasn’t been revised in years, and is badly in need of some sprucing up), here:
