Of course your comment on this was more than welcome, and not unwelcome on the ground that you haven’t had the time to study Stirner or Juenger extensively. It gave me an excuse to write a post. Stirner is indeed a “dangerous” thinker, arguably satanic — but only arguably. Juenger, perhaps half-ironically, implied he was a saint. The truth lies on a razor’s edge, if one cares to attempt to formulate it. Perhaps it’s more readily grasped in simplicity. It’s quite beyond my ability to address without more study, I’m afraid. I’m not nearly famliar enough with Stirner or Juenger to say any more than I’ve already said, assuming I should even have said that.
