Probably I should have said more so as to find a point, such as that one can be against war and not necessarily a pacifist.

But aren’t there the same number of syllables in the USMC version as in the original? Or does scansion have nothing to do with number of syllables? I don’t know, having been an English major at USNA.

It should be “Napalm sticks to the children of the world.” Who the hell is teaching scansion to the Navy these days?
