Indeed, Juenger&#8217;s life almost literally straddled the 20th Century, with its beginning in 1895 and its end in 1998 at the age of 102. It is unfortunately a difficult book to find in English for less than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ernst-juenger.org\/2012\/09\/eumeswil-in-english-reprint.html\">a few hundred dollars<\/a>, but it can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ernst-juenger.org\/2012\/09\/eumeswil-in-english-reprint.html?showComment=1347502031608#c2388626430720310952\">here<\/a> quite cheaply. It is one of the greatest books I&#8217;ve ever read.
